In the last 2 decades, I have constantly moved geographically. Every new location, maturing with age and other circumstances presented new challenges and experiences. Along with the displacements also came opportunities for new connections, hopes and dreams. The work draws inspiration from these personal instances and presents them metaphorically. 
 
Throughout the series, I have intentionally restricted the colour pallet to black, white and gold. Black signifies conundrum and the unconscious mind; White represents the conscious mind, tranquility and purity and gold stands for optimism and determination. These are three constant aspects of my recent past and present.
