Artist Dossier Review

Find Your Voice. Define Your Path.

Transform your raw drafts into clear, gallery-ready professional text. A focused, step-by-step written review of your Artist Statement, Biography, and CV—completed entirely on your schedule.

Align Your Writing with the Depth of Your Art

Writing about your own creative practice is notoriously difficult. It is easy to over-complicate your concepts, leave out crucial details, or struggle to bridge your past achievements with your present work.

This review service is designed for artists who want to refine their professional text without the pressure. Writing takes time to process, edit, and absorb. By working entirely through written, step-by-step feedback, you can review my edits and update your drafts completely within your own studio time—eliminating scheduling conflicts or time-zone friction.

The Philosophy: Learning the Structure

There is a distinction between having someone write your text and learning how to articulate your own practice. I do not ghostwrite your statements. My goal is to teach you how to fish, not simply hand you a fish. By providing structural templates and rigorous, line-by-line feedback, I empower you to write about your work with clarity. You do the writing within my framework, gaining a permanent skill to navigate your career long after our review is complete.

How the Review Works

A Clear, Step-by-Step Process

1. Secure Your Booking & Set Up Your Workspace

Once you complete your booking, you will receive a secure link to your private project folder containing a master working document and a brief 5-question intake questionnaire.

2. Submit Your Current Drafts

Fill out the quick questionnaire and paste your current text drafts—even if they feel completely raw, unorganised, or unpolished—directly into your workspace document.

3. Receive Comprehensive Feedback

I will review your text line by line, leaving detailed structural critiques, phrasing edits, and tone adjustments directly on your drafts. We will focus strictly on professional clarity and presentation standards.

4. The Final Polish

You implement the structural edits in your workspace. Once your drafts are updated, I do a final review of the unified text to ensure your Statement, Biography, and CV flow seamlessly together before final delivery.

What Others Are Saying

Testimonials 5 Starts.png

Madhvee’s energy is truly infectious. She’s not only an incredible artist but also an exceptional teacher. Her talks and feedback sessions have helped me view my projects with a long-term mindset rather than creating art just for Instagram. As artists, we can become too close to our own work, and getting a fresh perspective makes it exciting to return to. I can’t wait to discuss my project with her again and gain more insights.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you write my statement or bio for me from scratch?

No. To borrow the old proverb, my goal is to teach you how to fish. I provide the structural templates, professional standards, and critical feedback, but you must do the actual writing. This ensures the voice remains entirely your own and gives you the tools to update your dossier independently throughout your career.

Q: Is there a live video or call component?

A: No, this service is conducted entirely via written review. This format gives you the quiet space to process critiques, rewrite, and think through your adjustments without the time constraints of a live conversation.

Q: What happens if I fall behind on my edits?

A: To keep my studio pipeline moving predictably, all review loops should be completed within 21 days of your initial booking. However, I understand that life events beyond your control can happen. If you encounter an unexpected delay, please keep me in the loop so we can make a one-time exception. Communication is key to keeping your project on track.

Q: Why is payment collected in full, in advance?

A: Because this review process begins the moment you book. Space in my studio pipeline is limited, and your fee secures a dedicated project folder, structural templates, and focused time set aside exclusively for your work. Collecting payment in advance ensures both of us are fully committed to the momentum of the project from day one.

Q: Is the service refundable?

A: No, bookings are non-refundable. A significant amount of time, background preparation, and rigorous manual work goes into evaluating your creative practice and reviewing your texts line by line. Once a project workspace is initialised and your drafts are submitted, the time and professional expertise dedicated to your review cannot be reclaimed.

Q: What payment options do you accept?

A: I accept all major Credit Cards and PayPal for international bookings. For clients based in Singapore, you can pay via PayNow, and for clients based in India, UPI payments are accepted. Select the correct payment option suitable for your location.
