Built from layers upon layers of discarded photographs, Time Never Stood Still is a visual meditation on memory, time, and the overwhelming noise of the digital age. Each image used was once overlooked or rejected—remnants of fleeting moments captured and forgotten. Through a delicate process of digital layering and blending, these fragments are woven into a single, intricate composition that feels both familiar and dreamlike. Once finalised, the digital structure was permanently destroyed, ensuring that this piece remains completely unique—an unrepeatable artefact in a world of endless duplication.

Printed with archival ink on museum-quality paper, the work reflects on how we document our lives, share them instantly, and just as quickly move on. It’s a quiet rebellion against the throwaway nature of digital media—an invitation to slow down, look closer, and consider the emotional weight of the images we discard.
