Madhvee Deb is an Indian multidisciplinary artist, who after having lived in Africa, Australia and Europe, now calls Singapore home. She holds an MA in Fine Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London (via LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore). Her multidisciplinary practice explores identity, social constructs, elements of impermanence and memory through photography, video, and mixed media.
Madhvee is a recipient of the prestigious Art Ichol Residency, India (2025), and the George Town Festival Grant (2018). Notable solo exhibitions include Digital Waste: The Sweet Smell of Burning, Georgetown Festival, Penang, (2018), and Galleri Soho, Västerås, Sweden, (2019). She has exhibited internationally in group shows across Singapore, France, Malaysia, Sweden, and the USA (online). Madhvee has also spoken at platforms such as the Alliance Française de Singapour and Milan Image Art & Design Fair.
Her evocative work transforms complex narratives into visual languages, sparking reflection on cultural norms and shared human experiences.
